San Angelo ISD Board of Trustees Approves 2027-2028 Middle School Feeder Patterns

The San Angelo ISD Board of Trustees approved new middle school feeder patterns during the July 13, 2026, Pre-Agenda Board Meeting in a 6-0 vote. The changes will take effect on July 1, 2027, prior to the start of the 2027-2028 school year.

The approved feeder patterns are designed to balance enrollment across the district, improve operational efficiency and support the district's long-term needs as student enrollment and demographic trends continue to change.

Beginning with the 2027-2028 school year, each middle school will receive students from four elementary campuses.

Fort Concho Elementary School Fannin Elementary School Crockett Elementary School
Glenmore Elementary School Goliad Elementary School McGill Elementary School
Lamar Elementary School Holiman Elementary School Santa Rita Elementary School

Like many school districts across Texas and the nation, San Angelo ISD continues to experience declining enrollment and shifting demographic patterns. These approved feeder pattern adjustments better align student populations with available campus capacity while supporting the district's long-term financial sustainability.
