H-E-B Opens Nominations for the Excellence in Education Awards

Do you know a San Angelo ISD teacher or principal who has positively impacted your student or our community? If so, you can recognize their hard work and dedication by nominating them for the 2022 H-E-B Excellence in Education Awards. The nomination form, which can be found at heb.com/nominate, is quick and easy to complete. 

The H-E-B Excellence in Education Teacher Award recognizes teachers who show passion and commitment to the teaching profession, innovation and creativity in the classroom, and professional growth and development. The Principal Award recognizes principals who excel in campus leadership and culture, instructional leadership and management, and effectively communicates with their community. 

Entering their 21st year, the H-E-B Excellence in Education awards are designed to honor outstanding public school professionals and to thank them for their dedication and commitment to the students in their area. Through this program, H-E-B seeks to pay tribute to educators who go the extra mile each and every day to serve their students and community and inspire others to do the same. The 2020 Excellence in Education award winners received over $430,000 in cash awards and grants to eight educators, two school districts, an early childhood agency and a public school board to assist with the expansion of their incredible programs. The 2021 Excellence in Education Awards process and celebration was postponed in light on ongoing public health concerns. 

H-E-B Excellence in Education is accepting nominations until October 18th. San Angelo ISD appreciates all of our educators and team members who are shining examples of how our people make the difference, and applaud H-E-B and our community members who join us in recognizing their impactful work.
