Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month: Student Testimonials

February is Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month which celebrates the achievements and accomplishments of CTE programs across the country. San Angelo ISD is proud of our CTE programs that support student future-readiness with courses providing clear direction to pursue post-secondary opportunities - whether that be a college education or entering the workforce. SME Education Foundation and San Angelo ISD Join Forces to Create STEM Opportunities for Students

San Angelo ISD is excited to announce an innovative partnership with the SME Education Foundation to bring unique manufacturing and engineering education and career opportunities to SAISD students via the Foundation’s Partnership Response In Manufacturing Education (PRIME) schools initiative. SAISD will be the only district in West Texas, and only the second statewide, to offer SME PRIME opportunities to students.

School Open Monday, February 22

Following a district-wide facility review and constant communication with the City of San Angelo Water Utilities Director and other local officials, San Angelo ISD campuses and offices will OPEN as regularly scheduled tomorrow, Monday, February 22, 2021. However, as the City of San Angelo remains under a boil water notice impacting all SAISD campuses, SAISD will also offer in-person students and families across the District the choice to have students attend virtually rather than in-person using the Schoology platform through Wednesday, February 24, 2021.
